TU Dance Company Showing, November 2

In anticipation of the TU Dance Fall Concert at The O’Shaughnessy, November 17-19, please join Artistic Directors Toni Pierce-Sands and Uri Sands at TU Dance Center for an informal in-studio showing on Thursday, November 2, from 5:30-6:30pm. The showing will feature excerpts from the fall concert program.

Doors open at 5:00pm. Showcase begins at 5:30pm.

Limited parking is available in front of TU Dance Center. Additional parking can be found in the Subway Sandwich overflow parking lot located on University Avenue right before TU Dance Center’s parking lot entrance, and in the north side parking lot accessible through Vandalia Street. Please do not park in the fenced parking lot.

TU Dance Center Students To Perform at Northrop, November 4, 2017

Nine TU Dance Center students will be performing with contemporary dance company ODC/Dance from San Francisco the beloved children’s story The Velveteen Rabbit.  Former TU Dance company member Alanna Morris-Van Tassel taught and rehearsed with our students the ODC/Dance’s choreography during the month of October in preparation for the performance at the University of Minnesota’s Northrop.

Open Ballet Class with Peggy Seipp-Roy, October 6

Peggy‘s class combines the articulation and placement of classical ballet technique and organic movement quality of contemporary dance. This classes are for Advanced/Professional Level.

Peggy Seipp-Roy is a native of Minnesota where she trained with Minnesota Dance Theatre and The School of American Ballet. She danced professionally with Minnesota Dance Theatre, James Sewell Ballet and TU Dance. She has taught for Minnesota Dance Theatre, James Sewell Ballet, TU Dance, the University of Minnesota, St. Paul Conservatory for the Performing Artists, NW Dance project in Portland, Oregon and Carlsbad Performing Arts Academy in California.
