Kathy’s 8-week workshop is based on two important ideas: that we all need to move, and that dance enriches our daily lives. Classes will enable participants to find beauty and possibility in simple, accessible movement. Students are invited to adapt movement to their own bodies and fitness levels, while learning to dance with insight, musicality and phrasing. Kathy will introduce or refresh basic modern dance concepts and movement vocabulary, allowing students to experience better health, flexibility, balance, and increased strength.
